Guy is the founder of RAISE, originally launching it as "Lifespeak Ministries." His inspiration for doing so was his belief that everything we are and all we have is a gift from God. “And we have a short life in which to return it all to His service,” he says. Of the work in Highgate, Guy adds, “Here were all the basic ingredients for a healthy community that needed a place to come together and grow. Investing in that possibility was just the right thing to do.” Guy is trained as Physician, with a specialty in Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, and Hospice. He holds an MD from the University of Florida College of Medicine and a BS from Dickinson College (a double major in Religion & Chemistry). Guy is compelled by the grace of God and inspired by the lives and work of George Fox, John Wesley and E. Stanley Jones. He resides in Half Moon Bay, California with his wife Melissa, and has four adult children.
